Modifiable retrieval tool for drain professionals
Captain Hook is an absolute bang to your buck when you drop something to the drain or confront something in the drain that should not be there. Its main purpose is to act as a modifiable retrieval tool so you can pull out any foreign objects like roots, wet wipes, plastic bags, lost chain knockers or other obstructing items from difficult spots like drains.
The Captain Hook includes:
- Main chassis that has two attachment locations for “fingers”. One in the center and one at an angled offset offset.
- Hex screws to attach the chassis to flexible shaft
- Two 4mm thick stainless steel “fingers” that are delivered straight and are easily adjustable for every situation but rigid enough to withstand the pulling of the foreign object. The “fingers” have threads so attaching them to the chassis is easy.
How to use Captain Hook?
Just attach the chassis of Captain Hook to your flexible shaft with included hex screws, attach the two 4mm stainless steel mini rods to the chassis, adjust the mini rods to the shape you are most confident of retrieving the foreign item with and you are ready to start retrieving.
Available in two sizes for different diameter shafts:
- 6 - 8mm (¼″ - ⁵⁄₁₆″)
- 10 - 12mm (⅜″ - ½″)
